Online Resources for Contemporary Musicians

In my 20 plus years of teaching, I always got questions like these:
Carlos, can you recommend me a jazz theory book that is easy to understand? How about a piano solo transcription book for my level of reading? Any book on jazz voicings that sounds more contemporary? Any latin jazz piano book with some cool montuno licks? I want to learn how to play Salsa in 2-3 and 3-2 clave correctly, which book should I get? What can I study to improve my sight-reading? I got this new software to record my songs; are they any quick tip books I could use to start recording right away? I’m taking this Music Theory class and I’m lost, any book that can help me understand 4-part harmony? I like the horn sounds that you got on this album, what library or plugin did you use? I want to practice at home and need a keyboard with a strong action, which one would you recommend? I am playing this gig and I need a keyboard that sounds good and is easy to carry, which one should I get?

So, I decided to create this blog, where I will be writing about music books, music software, daily practice tips, music gear, and more music related stuff.
