Five piano arrangements in a 2-3 clave Montuno style using a chord progression similar to “Blue Bossa.”
1. Basic Montunos: Straight montuno pattern.
2. Broken Montunos: Arpeggiated montuno pattern.
3. Modern Montunos: This one is the most interesting one. It features different two hand voicings while maintaining the 2-3 clave pattern.
4. Basic Montunos with Bass Tumbaos: The right hand pattern is similar to the Basic Montuno pattern while the left hand plays a Tumbao bass line.
5. Broken Montunos with Bass Tumbaos: The right hand pattern is similar to the Broken Montuno pattern while the left hand plays a Tumbao bass line.
